What I learned in nearly 3 months of parenting

  • A crying baby tires you quicker then a day at the office overloaded with problems.
  • Playing with your baby whenever awake even if he's quiet is essential for his development.
  • Going out for a walk calms baby and mother.
  • Never make lists of what you intend doing everyday; it only makes you frustrated when for the hundreth time your little one wakes up and you can't do what was on your mind.
  • Time alone is essential for your sanity and the wellbeing of your family & time alone with your partner is also essential-but don't talk only on the baby it defeats its purpose!
  • If you are tired and so frustrated your baby will feel the frustration ending himself more frustrated so before handling your crying baby make an effort to relax and sound soothing.
  • Dancing with your baby will give you energy, makes you feel happy and will calm your little one
  • Asking help from family & friends when in need is not a crime, nor a sin. You are still a good parent but everyone needs help once in a while.
  • Accept all advice given to you but go with your instinct. Everyone's idea is good if it works for them!
  • Enjoy every moment with your baby....they grow quickly and they change everyday of their lives!!
