Mother's Day
Just reading a friends' of mine blog and realised that yes yesterday it was mother's day and I am now part of that group of people who celebrate it. Although I was given wishes from family & friends and my husband bought me shoes as a present (ok maybe not flowers but I needed the shoes so I told him to switch flowers which he was gonna buy - he tried to suprise me but as usual I didn't let him - to shoes instead), it still kinda didn't kick in. Yet today thinking again about it and reading from my friend I thought how amazing it is that suddenly my status has changed or rather has been added to and I am truly a mother now as well. Somehow the change doesn't quite strike you straight away and now that it did it truly is a wonderful thing to have happened to me. So lucky when so many people wish to have children and don't manage or have to wait years before it finally happens.
Defining me is like defining the sky. Lots of mysterious and unphatomable levels. But striving to be simpler everyday with the help of God and my family.
